A really shifty north easterly breeze made for tactically interesting racing. The starting line was rarely square, there was always a favored tack and there was a cross current through the race course.

- Start on time towards the favored end
- Stay on the lifted tack
- Sail to the next shift
And sometime just stop and take in the beautiful evening.
