The fleet:
Did well:
- Enjoyed their best starts of the season.
- Communicated exceptionally well with each other and with other boats.
- Maintained good heel on the upwind reach despite the light winds.
- Sailed toward the wind on the left side of the course.
- Made winning tactical moves by splitting away from the rest of the fleet when appropriate.
Keep working on:
- Sail trim: Adjust trim not only for the point of sail, but also by managing both luff and leech tension.
- Jib trim: Helmsperson and jib trimmers should continue working together to keep the boat powered up and moving efficiently.
