We had a blustery night so raced to the Naval Academy Bridge and back. Taking turns on the helm is a good way to break up a long distance race. We set out with a reef in the sail but all the boats shook it out for the run back to the finish line. Ian, Jonah, and Jared shook their reef out before entering the Severn but had to play the mainsheet hard to manage puffs. Sailing in the Severn can be challenging due to current and wind shifts.
