Tonight’s takeaway was not leaving so much room at marks. Boats were giving away two to three boat lengths at every mark rounding. As you exit a rounding ideally you would like to be
reach out and touch the mark. In the photo on the left red boat has rounded way too wide. This open the door for all the boats behind it to get in a passing lane. In the photo on the right you can see that grey and yellow made up significant ground and with any left shift they could pass red boat.
