A beautiful southeast breeze at 15 knots made for a spirited reach down to Green “91” and a close reach back. First place and second place rounded “91” and finished within seconds of each other. It was tight racing over the 12 mile course. The top boats elected to go without a reef and to have some playing the mainsheet the entire course. Put the vang on and ease the sheet in puffs and pull it in during lulls. The goal is to have a constant angle of heel. I’m sure it made for quite the workout and that beer in the clubhouse tasted even better than normal.
