The Advanced Sailor combines the content necessary for achieving the ASA 101 – Basic Keelboat and 103 – Basic Coastal Cruising certifications into one 5-day course while leaving you the nights on shore. All of the skills and knowledge for ASA 101 and 103 certifications are covered in this intensive course.
It begins with two days on board a Rainbow 24 covering the skills and requirements for the ASA 101 certification. The third and fourth days are spent transferring the skills learned on the Rainbow 24 to a Beneteau 37 cruising sailboat and learning its various systems. The last day is spent on the Beneteau working with you on the written and practical testing for your ASA certifications. The price includes the Basic Keelboat and Basic Coastal Cruising textbooks, testing and certification fees, and a 3-month trial membership with ASA.
