Sailing Fun For the Whole Family!
Our family sailing lesson is the perfect way to enjoy spending quality time with your family out on the water. Prepare for an enjoyable sail on the Chesapeake Bay and Severn River aboard one of our Rainbow 24s. Our talented instructors will tailor the lesson to suit your family’s needs and sailing goals. You’ll begin by learning how to rig the boat and assist in hoisting the sails. Once you set sail and depart the dock, your hands-on instruction will include water safety, basic sailing terminology, sail trim, steering with a tiller, a bit of local Annapolis history, and FUN! At the end of your lesson, you and your family will be amazed at how much you have learned!
We highly encourage you to bring snacks and beverages along for the sail, especially for the little ones. Please be aware, the younger ones may feel tuckered out before the lesson time is over. Your instructor may recommend some on-land activities such as knot-tying practice on the beach, wildlife observation, and other educational sailing-related games. We sail rain or shine, please come prepared with rain jackets, windbreakers, and sun protection!

Cost: $450 per boat (minimum number of adults: 1; maximum total passengers: 5)
