KidShip COVID-19 Update

KidShip Cancellation: Issued 6/19/2020

Hello KidShip Parents and Grandparents,

We hope you’ve all been staying safe and healthy over the last few weeks!

Unfortunately, we’ve come to the tough decision to cancel KidShip for the summer 2020 season. While some changes have been made to Maryland state day camp restrictions recently, the restrictions that limit our ability to run KidShip as a sports camp this summer have not changed.

We would like to thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

We will be processing cancellations starting Wednesday 6/21/20. If you would like to take a credit to lock in your price for next year, please contact us before then. Otherwise, your refund will be automatically processed. It may takeĀ up to 10 business days to process all of the cancellations.

However, the summer sailing season for kids at Annapolis Sailing School isn’t lost! We will be providing opportunities to get your sailors out on the water independent of KidShip. Initially, we will be offering 2-hour private lessons for young sailors. These lessons will be customizable, both in terms of boats used and for the skill level of the young sailors. You can check them out here.

Please call the office for booking inquiries! While capacity will be limited, we will work to get as many kids on the water as we can.

If you would like to read the state’s restrictions on camps, you can find the most recent order here.

Stay healthy and we hope to see you out on the water soon!
