Races were interesting last night! We started near 1E and sailed to lighted buoy 5, then to red and green can SC, honored Horn Point shoal marker, to the start line and did that twice. Things I learned:
- People played the jib nicely on the beam and broad reach
- Communication was necessary and very effective but RC needs to be more specific
- Current matters – the water level was high and the ebbing tide made the right side of the course favored.
