Monday Night Race 6-2-2025
For the Monday Night Race we had a prediction of light and variable winds. The southerly actually filled in and while it wasn’t strong it was steady enough to race. We got three races in, with the RC deciding to run a two lapper on the first race. Going right and staying out of the flooding tide seemed to pay off. The boats that overtrimmed their sails and the boats that undertrimmed both had problems. It was a night that matching the jib and main leech curve really paid off. Keeping attached flow in light conditions is very important.
Wilbur Keyworth came out and took some professional pictures: https://photos.app.goo.gl/mezbbMR61Dc8yN5U6 Thank you Wilbur!
