Annapolis Sailing School’s Keelboat Club was created to offer our graduates a cost efficient alternative to hone your sailing skills. For a fraction of the cost of buying or chartering a boat, you can enroll in the Keelboat Club and sail on our famous Rainbow 24’ sailing sloop all season long. With your Keelboat Club card, our boats are available to you – 7 days a week – all season long. Keelboat Club members also receive extended sailing hours not available to normal rentals. Simply call at least 72 hours in advance and your boat will await you at the dock.
Performance
Our Rainbow 24’s are long and lean and possess
the fine, clean lines that cut through the water
with authority.
Safety
The Rainbow cockpit is surrounded by a large
coaming design to keep you dry when the spray
flies. The strong fiberglass hull and deck make the
boat virtually indestructible. A 1,100 lb. cast iron
keel provides immense ballast when the wind picks
up and serves to keep the boat stiff and dry.
Comfort
The Rainbow has an exceptionally large cockpit
with comfortable seating and backrest, on the
premise that sailing should not be a cramped,
hunched-up affair. The high degree of comfort
and safety has earned the Rainbow the reputation
of being one of sailing’s most sea kindly craft.
