TrySail: Two-Hour Introduction to Sailing
Looking for the perfect introduction to sailing? Not sure if you’re ready to commit to a multi-day sailing course? Then a TrySail is for you. During your two-hour sailing introduction, you can learn the basics from experienced instructors with hands-on training aboard the reliable Rainbow 24, or you can relax and enjoy the experience while others do the work. You’ll practice steering the boat, tacking, jibing, and be introduced to the basic boat parts. Most importantly, you will learn if sailing is a sport you want to pursue. This introduction is a great opportunity to experience the joys of sailing with your family or friends. It makes a great gift, too!
TrySails are available May through August from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Saturday and Sunday (Subject to instructor availability)
Prerequisite: None
Minimum 2 people to run; maximum 5 people per boat.
Age requirements: Minimum age: 10 years old; Children age 15 and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Days Offered: Saturday and Sunday
Cost: $99 Per Person, $165 for Two People
